PRIVACY STATEMENT

Thank you for your interest in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. We observe the legal provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) as well as other data protection regulations, if these apply. Below we will inform you in detail about how we handle your data. This data protection declaration relates to the collection, processing and use of personal data. This includes all information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.

THE CONTROLLER

The company shown in the legal notice is responsible for data processing on this website.

DATA USE

a) Scope, purposes and legal basis of data processing
Every time our website is accessed, usage data is stored in the so-called server log files. The data records saved in this process contain the date and time of the call, the name of the page called up, the abbreviated IP address of the visitor, the referrer URL and the product information of the browser used. The shortened IP address will be deleted after seven days. We cannot assign this data to specific persons. Your telecommunications provider may, however, be able to identify you based on your IP address and your telecommunications provider can potentially be forced by judicial or administrative orders to give the relevant data to us or to third parties. We regularly do not merge this data with other data sources. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit.

b) Categories of recipients of the personal data
Service providers who support us in the operation of the website are software (SaaS) providers, hosting providers and e-mail service providers. As part of their services, these service providers may have access to the data collected when using the website. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) lit.f GDPR. For reasons of IT security, we only inform the relevant companies on individual request.

c) Use of cookies
In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us or our partner companies to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). Some cookies are important for the functionality of our website and are automatically activated by us when a user visits it. Our website also uses cookies to make it easier to use and to provide you with content tailored to your information needs. You cannot be personally identified from any of the information we collect. The use of the cookies we set is necessary in order to be able to provide our online offer at all and also to be able to continuously optimize it. The data processing in this context is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide visitors to our website with a functioning online offering and to make visiting and using the website as pleasant and efficient as possible.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and individually decide whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

d) Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”), which enables your use of the website to be analyzed using cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted by Google to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use the extension „_anonymizehelp ()“. However, due to the activation of this extension on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases. Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. In addition, you can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookies and related to your use of our website and services (including the IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

You can prevent the future use of Google Analytics, in particular when accessing our offer from browsers on mobile devices, by clicking on the following link: Deactivate Google Analytics. By clicking on the link, a so-called opt-out cookie is saved on your device. Please do not delete this cookie as long as you want to maintain your objection. If you delete this cookie on your device, you have to save such a cookie again by clicking on the link if you want to continue to object to the collection of your data by Google.

Further information on how Google handles personal data in connection with Google Analytics can be found on the corresponding Google website (www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/learn/privacy.html), as well as in Google’s data protection declaration (www .google.de / intl / de / policies / privacy).

In order to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website for our users, we also use Google Conversion Tracking. Google Adwords will set a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad.

These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can see that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to our website. These cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is only used by Google to compile conversion statistics for us. We find out the total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which you can be personally identified.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this – for example, via a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate the cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain “https://www.googleadservices.com” are blocked. You can find Google’s data protection information on conversion tracking at: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html.

We use the Google services to analyze the use of our website and services and to be able to continuously develop our website and services in terms of user-friendliness. The basis for the use of Google Analytics, Google Maps and Google Adwords Conversion Tracking is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 a GDPR in conjunction with Art. 49 Para. 1 a) GDPR. Within the scope of the above, it is possible that your personal data will be transmitted to other countries (including countries outside the EU) in which data protection standards other than your place of residence may apply. When transferring your personal data to such countries, we will take suitable measures to adequately secure your data. Please note, however, that data processed in other countries may be subject to foreign laws and are accessible to the governments, courts and law enforcement and supervisory authorities there.

USE OF THE CONTACT ADDRESSES PROVIDED ON THE WEBSITE

If you contact us by mail or email using the contact addresses given on the website, we will use the data to process your request. If claims can potentially be asserted against our company from the corresponding process, we will keep the correspondence for the duration of the statutory limitation period of up to thirty years plus a „buffer“ of six months. Corresponding correspondence may also be subject to statutory documentation and retention requirements, which result from Section 257 of the Commercial Code and Section 147 of the Tax Code. The deletion periods are then six to ten years.

AFFECTED RIGHTS

Within the framework of the legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, their origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correct, block or delete this data. You can also have the right to restrict the processing of your data and the right to surrender the data you have provided in a structured, common and machine-readable format. If you have given us your consent to process your data for certain purposes, you can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. If we process your data to safeguard legitimate interests, you can object to this processing for reasons that arise from your particular situation. You also have the option of contacting a supervisory authority (right of appeal).
